Exploring Line Project #2: Bubble Drawing
Want to draw colorful bubbles? Here's how.
Materials
- Black paper
- White chalk pencil
- Chalk pastels
Tools
- Round objects for tracing, in different sizes (I used a round cardboard protractor, both inside and outside, a leftover cardboard roll from a roll of duct tape, and the lid off of a spray can)
Instructions
- Using the chalk pencil and your round objects, trace circles of different sizes all over the paper. Make them overlap.
- Using different colors of chalk pastel, make parallel curved lines just inside of the outlines of your bubbles.
- Using a white chalk pastel, make tiny marks in each of your bubbles to make reflections.
- Now you've made a bubble drawing!
